VTuber Ironmouse leaves VShojo as she claims agency owes charity over $500,000

Major virtual streamer, or VTuber, Ironmouse, is the next to leave agency VShojo. While others have left under seemingly “happier” circumstances, Ironmouse is claiming that the company owes her “a significant amount of funds”.

This appears to include an estimated $515,000 in charity funds for the Immune Deficiency Foundation. Ironmouse is mostly bed-bound, suffering from an immunodeficiency disease, hence why she uses the VTuber model.

In the 11-minute video, Ironmouse states that she has been instructed by her lawyer not to divulge too much. However, her surface-level elaboration on why she’s leaving partially comes down to her feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders, as she was, by far, one of the most popular members of VShojo.

At some point, she decided to take control of her finances and ran some “subathons”. These are streamer-led events on their chosen platform where they try to get as many subscribers as possible in a certain timeframe. Ironmouse ran a few, with VShojo sending any money over promptly. The last one, however, which raised the $515,000 in question, has still not been sent over a year later.

Ironmouse states she’s managed to raise $4 million for the charity, but has said that the situation has “broken” her.

What the hell is going on at VShojo?

This is the fourth name to leave the company in 2025, with several members still technically on the roster, now removing any mention of VShojo from their social media accounts.

One major member, Kson, who was previously with VTuber agency Hololive as Kiryu Coco, has begun to drum up fury on X, previously Twitter. She is set to go live in a few hours from writing, with a thumbnail that just reads:

“We need an explanation. Please answer VSHOJO.”

She followed it up with another post, claiming she didn’t get to speak to the person she needed to.

Other members of the VShojo roster are now pushing links to Ironmouse’s Tiltify link, which she uses for donations. Other members are insisting fans shouldn’t worry over them and thanking them for making their careers a success.

Zentreya, a mute VTuber who left just a few weeks ago, has also come out on X to state she can’t answer questions due to legal circumstances.

Ironmouse leaving and stars turning on agency bodes well

VShojo was set up in 2020 during the initial boom of VTubing on YouTube and Twitch during the pandemic. It has been fairly successful, allowing its talent to be themselves and feed into the slightly more adult tastes that come along with it.

In recent weeks, it’s clear that its “talent first” promise has been crumbling. Those leaving have been polite on the way out, but it appears that something has gone very wrong inside the agency.

  • This new AMD Ryzen CPU benchmark leak is astounding, over 7x faster than 9800X3D

This new AMD Ryzen CPU benchmark leak is astounding, over 7x faster than 9800X3D

A new AMD Ryzen CPU benchmark leak has just appeared, and it shows the potentially awesome power of the company’s new Threadripper CPUs for multi-threading work. This new leak appears to show the raw power of the 96-core AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 9995WX, which is massively more powerful than your average gaming CPU, even if it isn’t a chip aimed at the gaming market.

We’ve not seen new Threadripper CPUs from AMD in a few years, and their release is highly anticipated. Packed with a ridiculous number of cores, at least by usual desktop standards, Threadripper Pro 9000 prices are already set to be ridiculous, with the 9995WX costing as much as $11,699 at launch. Expensive as they may be, raw power alone isn’t enough to make them great for gaming, either, with the options in our best gaming CPU guide still likely to top a Threadripper as the choice for a gamer-focused PC build.

AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 9995WX benchmark leak on Chiphell

This new leak, released on the Chinese industry forum Chiphell by admin user nApoleon, and caught by tech leaker 9950pro, shows a screenshot from benchmarking tool Cinebench R23. The leak shows a CPU multi-core test score of 173,452 for a CPU that 9950pro identifies in a post on X (formerly Twitter) as the new flagship AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 9995WX.

To put that into perspective, the eight-core 9800X3D scored an average of 23,265 when we tested it for our AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D review. Meanwhile, the 24-core Intel Core i9 14900K, Intel’s last-gen flagship, scores 36,072 in our own benchmarks.

That’s a somewhat unfair comparison, however. Gaming CPUs rarely have excessive amounts of cores, and a 96-core CPU is clearly going to outperform an eight-core 9800X3D in a multi-core CPU test. Recent Threadripper CPUs in the past, including the 96-core 7995WX that this chip is replacing, have scored well over 100,000 in the same Cinebench tests, according to user test scores posted online, including in this recent Chiphell forum post that put the 7995WX through benchmark testing.

As AMD itself has stated, this is a processor aimed at the professional market, with AI and video rendering tasks in mind. High CPU counts work well in those situations, but not for gaming. That makes these CPUs a far less likely option for most gamers, especially with the 9995WX’s $11,699 price tag.

You might want to skip the Threadripper for your next gaming PC, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still go big when you’re picking your parts. • bidding – When should you bid in bridge over a 1NT double pass action?

bidding – When should you bid in bridge over a 1NT double pass action?

So the general setup is as follows. Left hand opponent opens the bidding with 1 NT (strong, balanced, 15-17 HCP), partner doubles (for penalty, promising 16+ HCP), right hand opponent passes. Which kind of hands should make any non pass bid now?

Note that at least 31 HCP are already accounted for, so own hands is guaranteed to be fairly low in HCP and partner didn’t provide any information about shape or suit preferences.

Background, I recently played a hand on bridgebase where I did the doubling and my robot partner bid 2 hearts. I was fairly clueless what I should expect from partner there.

Summer Games Done Quick 2025 helps raise over $2.4 million for charity

SGDQ 2025 has raised an eye-watering $2.4 million dollars for charity, as speedrunners from various videogame disciplines have once again successfully come together to do some good. The in-person event continues to grow every year, with plenty of runs still worth checking out now that it’s over. This time, we saw indie hits such as Blue Prince and Balatro join the likes of Sekiro and Monster Hunter Wilds, offering up a little bit of everything.

Summer Games Done Quick 2025 has officially raised $2,436,614 for Doctors Without Borders, a charity dedicated to supporting victims of disasters and armed conflict. To raise money, speedrunners ran through some of their favorite games live, while anyone watching could donate to support them and put their money towards specific goals. Some of the best PC games of all time made an appearance, alongside some I don’t think anybody expected.

One of my favorite runs was for Blue Prince, where ‘RadRingtail’ managed to put us all to shame by beating it in a measly two minutes. That wasn’t all, though, as two runners also faced off in a Blue Prince bingo run, where they had to complete a random selection of objectives in order to win.

Runner ‘cloiss’ also managed to beat Balatro in just under an hour, absolutely annihilating the game’s RNG at a pace I’m frankly jealous of. Then there’s AEW Fight Forever, where the audience perfectly understood the assignment by bringing a boatload of energy and signs to the run. Whether you’re a professional wrestling fan or not, this one is definitely worth a look.

If you’d rather watch a speedrun with lightning-fast skills, the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice showcase is for you. ‘Mitchriz’ beats all bosses and minibosses without using any glitches, and it’s one you’ll sweat simply just watching. There are plenty other runs worth your time, however, so I’d recommend going to the Games Done Quick YouTube channel and checking out the backlog.

Don’t forget you can also check out the best free Steam games available today, alongside the biggest upcoming PC games you need to watch out for.

  • After many bet against it, a PS5 State of Play is coming tomorrow with over 40 minutes of game reveals

After many bet against it, a PS5 State of Play is coming tomorrow with over 40 minutes of game reveals

Sony has officially announced that it’s going to be hosting an event in June after all. It’s going to be of the State of Play variety, and it will be airing live tomorrow. Sony has, in recent years, made a habit of announcing those livestreams one or two days before the event’s scheduled date.

This June’s State of Play is no different, and it looks like it won’t be heavy on first-party games.

This week’s State of Play will be live tomorrow, June 4 at 2pm PT, 5pm ET, 10pm UK. In the announcement blog post, Sony said we can expect “news and updates” on games coming to PS5.

“The show highlights a selection of great games from creators across the globe,” the blog post adds, which really doesn’t tell us much. It is clear, however, that this won’t be a first-party-focused show, though it is curious that Sony elected not to use the terms ‘first’ or ‘third-party’ in the announcement.

In any case, this State of Play is going to a little beefy, clocking in at over 40-minutes-long. As always, you’ll be able to watch it live on PlayStation’s official Twitch, and YouTube channels.

This week is going to be very busy with events and game reveals. Summer Game Fest’s live opening show is scheduled for Friday, June 6, and the first edition of IO Interactive’s IOI Showcase is taking place just a couple of hours later on the same day.

Then, on Sunday, June 8, Xbox will take its turn to host its own showcase, which will be followed by a dedicated The Outer Worlds 2 direct, so it’s all popping off. EA and Ubisoft are seemingly going to sit this one out, but we wouldn’t bet against some of their rumoured and in-development games showing up at one (or more) of these shows.
